NWI Local provides an online directory and information platform connecting users with businesses located in Northwest Indiana, as well as an opt-in messaging program delivering directory updates, news, and promotional communications. We also offer paid premium listing upgrades that include enhanced business profile features, print advertising placement, and related promotional materials.
3. SMS & Mobile Terms
By opting in to receive SMS messages from NWI Local, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the following program terms:
- Message Purpose: Messages include notifications about local business updates, promotional offers, directory additions, and community announcements in Northwest Indiana.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on directory updates and promotions, but typically does not exceed 4 messages per month.
- Rates & Charges: Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier plan.
- Opt-Out Instructions: You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. Upon sending STOP, you will receive a confirmation message verifying your unsubscription.
- Support Instructions: For help or assistance, reply HELP to any message or email info@nwilocal.com.
- Carrier Disclaimer: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent Non-Condition: Consent to receive automated text messages is not a condition of purchase or required to browse our directory.
4. Business Listings & Payments
Businesses may submit information for a free directory listing or purchase a premium listing package. All payments for premium services are processed securely through Stripe. Premium listing benefits, pricing, and included materials will be described at the time of purchase. Listing content is subject to review and approval before publication.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes. You agree not to provide false contact information, submit fraudulent listing information, attempt to disrupt website operations, or engage in unauthorized scraping or data harvesting.
6. Limitation of Liability
NWI Local provides its directory and messaging service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NWI Local shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services or website.
